GHSS Khanyar under the supervision of worthy Principal mam is conducting door to door Enrollment drive to enroll children for classes 9th to 12th.The teaching staff of the school goes door to door stressing the need to enroll children in the school.They also brief parents and their wards about the facilities provided by the school.People are appreciating the enrollment drive undertaken by the school.

GHSS Khanyar celebrated World Environment Day in which students and staff participated. Students presented various colourful programmes highlighting the need to save our environment. At last the faculty members lead a rally in support of our environment. The event was successfully concluded.Hon principal mam appreciated the students and staff for making this event successfull.

Inter School Business Quiz for class 11th and 12th Commerce Students. Ms. Muskan from Class 11th and Ms. Muzamil from Class 12th. The quiz was conducted at Green Valley Educational Institute, Ellahi Bagh on 4th June 2022. 15 top institutes of valley participated in the Quiz Competition in which GGHSS emerged as winners and secured 3rd position. The event was conducted to test the proficiency of students in Accountancy, Business Studies, Current Business Affairs and Logo Recognition. The event was presided by Mr. Mohd Shafi, HoD, Department of Commerce, University of Kashmir.

Ghss khanyar bags 06 medals.Medal breakup : Gold 01, silver 02 & bronze 03. The students today also participated in U17 Girls YSS Interschool zonal level tournament held at RADAPORA STADIUM. The performance of students was lauded by honourable principal mam,Shaheen Showkat ji,besides congratulating the sports department of the school.

Ghss Khanyar bags 09 medals in interschool zonal level Athletic meet held at RADAPORA stadium organised by YSS Zone Rainawari. 04 silver & 5 bronze medals.Principal Mam congratulated the sports department and students for achieving this milestone.

Once again students of GHSS khanyar Proved their mettle,when two students namely,Khulood Latif and Mir Madina secured Merit positions in TEDx contest in which students from different schools Participated.TEDx competition was held in NIT srinagar in which Students from various prestigious schools participated in different fields.Its pertinent to mention that GHSS KHANYAR,under the worthy guidance of Principal Mam,Shaheen Showkat,is in the forefront when it comes to extra curricular activities besides,  doing well in acedemics also.
